I’ve been reading some 1×2x1 fanfiction recently (yes, Gundam Wing numbers. Yaoi fangirl. But I like me some good Relena/Heero, as long as there’s a nice plot. c: ) and, thanks to author 0083’s story, “Lie to me,” it’s gotten me thinking.
Lie to me is a game where you tell complete lies about yourself. Yep. Simple as that. But where the lies start, the truth hides, so be careful if you’re playing this game, and you say something you might regret. (For example, you’re with your girlfriend, and you decide to play ‘lie to me.’ You very well shouldn’t say “I love you”.)
Since this is the Internet, a lot of people are lying, but how many exactly put up truths within their lies? And outside of the computer, how many tell the truth to their loved ones, without lying….even just a little?
You’d be a complete hypocrite if you said you didn’t lie. Babies and honest kids are the only exceptions to this fact, actually. And by honest kids, I mean the type who haven’t learned the art of lying from their friends, or observing their parents when they think that the children aren’t looking.
